@2021 by Amanda Southern
11:00Hi Everyone
and a Happy New Year to you all, be it that the start of this year begins as a challenging one for us all.
For my first post of 2021 I begin with an art journal spread in my little That's Crafty! white/greyboard journal that was my favourite to create in last year and I am sure will continue to be so for this coming year.
The pages I have created represent my stand to what 2021 may throw at us all.
Here's What Did:
I started by covering 2 of the facing pages with paper from an 13@rts 4' x 6' paper pad and glued to the page using That's Crafty! craft adhesive, using another of the pages from the same pad I tore out some floral pieces and added those.
I then blended the edges using some white gesso after which I brayered paint over the pages. I used That's Crafty! Teal Multi Surface Paint. Over that I added some stencilling using Rich chalk paint Urgup and did some stamping using Rich chalk paint Retro Red using one of Carabelle Studio texture coasters. I also drew through That's Crafty! Dinky Stencil Punchinella with my favourite white pen of all time the Sakura jell roll pen
I then added some black contrast stamping and stencilling
Stamps used are from AALL & Creates Visual Ingredients set and more stencilling around the Punchinella stencil along side the addition of AALL & Create washi Tape.
Next was to stamp out the images onto watercolour card and they were coloured using Zig Colour Clean pens and then cut out and added to the page.
to finish the page off I added my words which I created on my PC and added some doodling around the edges.
Here's what I Used:
Rich Multidecor Chalked Paints - Retro Red & Urgup
Versafine Clair Ink Pad - Noctourne
Stay safe everyone and create.
See you all next Tuesday
Love
