Hi everyone today I have a stacked ATC to share. These ATC Stacks by That’s Crafty! have 4 layers, one of MDF and 3 of acrylic in different thicknesses allowing for lots of dimensional play.

Here I started with painting the MDF in Blue Oyster and adding the Bora Bora through the raindrops stencil.

Next I stamped a number of small flower stamps and the music stamp from the Prima sets using the StazOn inks on the fronts and backs of two of the acrylic sheets.

I stamped the Zinouk character onto the front of the top acrylic sheet and coloured with the Posca pens from behind.

I assembled the various layers, popping a dried flower in between 2 of the acrylics and completing with a rub on the front.

Instructions...

1. I began by removing the protective film from just one side of the acrylic triptych, to keep the other side mess-free. I worked on the reverse side of the triptych first.

2. I stencilled words from the Enchanted stencil with Little Black Dress Fresco paint. I did the words back to front, so that they would show the right way through to the front of the acrylic pieces. Then I used the other Fresco paints and Dinky Stencils to apply more patterns, drying the paint as I went. I finally painted over everything with Cheesecake Fresco.

3. I used Grunge Paste and a palette knife to stencil the Flight of Butterflies all over the Cheesecake paint, drying with a heat gun as I went. Then I painted black gesso all over.

4. Now I peeled off the front protective film, revealing my layers of stencilling.

5. I painted some music paper with a thin layer of white gesso, then stamped the Finnabair image, together with a few butterflies, and the phrases. I added some colour with Bougainvillea Fresco, cut everything out, and used glossy accents to adhere them to the front of the triptych.

6. To finish, I used some pink ribbon to attach the triptych pieces together.

Instructions...

1. First I base-coated the MDF bottom layer all over with black gesso. I then used Lake Wanaka Fresco to stencil the Moroccan design, moving and matching up the stencil to get an all over pattern.

2. On the next layer, which is acrylic, I used Orchid Fresco to stencil the Flight of Butterflies. The acrylic is heat stable, so you can use a heat gun to dry the paint.

3. On the next acrylic layer, I used Guacamole, Tango, and Zesty Zing to stencil five Flowers.

4. On the top acrylic layer, I used black Stazon ink to stamp the quote from ESN20.

5. I finished off by using the screws to attach all the layers together.

Here's what I did...

1. To begin, I used the black Stazon ink to stamp the Layered Strips on the reverse of the acrylic ATC. I dried the ink with my heat gun.

2. For the next layer on the reverse of the ATC, I stencilled the Dinky Stencil Hearts with London Bus Fresco Paint, then dried the paint with the heat gun.

3. The third and final layer, covering the reverse of the ATC, was some Antarctic Fresco Paint.

4. After drying the paint, I inked the edges of my ATC with black Stazon ink, then adhered the Tim Holtz Small Talk phrase to the front.

Here's what I did...

1. I began by creating a background using the Gelli Plate, the blue and green Fresco paints, and making patterns with the bubble wrap.

2. I cut out a square of background, then stencilled the Jewelled design repeatedly across the middle using Snowflake Fresco. Leaving the stencil in place, I used black Archival ink to stamp the Prima Messy writing through the stencil. I then outlined the design with a fine black Sharpie.

3. I stamped the Man and Bird onto the background, then again onto white card, then cut him out and glued him over the image on the background. I stencilled some Screwheads in two corners with Little Black Dress Fresco, then added the Remnant Rubs bird and words.

4. To finish, I matted my design onto black card, then adhered it to a square white card.

Hello Everyone! I've been making use of one of my many Gelli Plate prints, to alter a couple of plain notepads. They made perfect Mother's Day presents, but would equally work as a birthday present for a friend!

Here's what I did...

1. I cut two pieces of printed paper to fit the front of the notepads, then stamped the designs on them using the black pigment ink. I embossed the images with detail clear embossing powder.

2. I inked the edges of my designs using blending foam and the black Archival ink, then glued them to the notepad covers with Glossy Accents.

3. To finish, I used the Glossy Accents to glue on a couple of red buttons.

So, a very simple way to liven up a couple of plain notepads! I also glued some magnetic discs to the backs, so they could be kept on a fridge, and used as shopping lists.
