Glorious Sweet Peas by Helen Chilton

11:00

Out of all the stamps from the last Hochanda shows, the sweet peas have to be my favourite.

I've used the centre of one of the emboidery hoops for this and painted it with PaperArtsy Fresco paint.

Stamp the sweet pea all over the background in black - it fits really well.

Then paint with Multi Surface paints whatever colours you choose.

It'll end up something like this.

To finish off I've just stamped the text on a scrap of patterned paper and added  a frame and some more flowers.

I love sweet peas and these are really easy to colour and cut out. By twisting and turning the stamp, they'll fit nearly any background and you can just chop flowers off to fit on top.
I hope you've enjoyed this project and it makes you think of summer!
