Calming Breath A Collage by Lynne Moncrieff
11:00 Hello
Craft o'Clock A4 Rice Paper sheet depicting butterflies is incredibly beautiful and for me, the neutral color palette of the butterflies was just so enticing and something so calming when working with the butterfly that I could not resist pairing with one of my text stamps.... your calming breath.

Instructions
The background started life as underpaper, it had some Texture Paste and Walnut Ink spray on it and also That's Crafty multi-surface paints and PaperArtsy Fresco. I liked the textures so much I decided to use it as a background, adhering to MDF panel.
This detail shows some of the textures.
Selecting two different sizes of CraftyBoard circles, the larger one was sprayed with Walnut Ink and the smaller circle covered with scrap deli paper which was covered with the items listed above.
For the small tag, it was dipped into walnut ink also staining scraps of handmade paper, leaving to dry before stamping one of the Scribbled Words stamps with Jet Black ink onto the tag.
A butterfly torn from the A4 Rice Paper, adhering only the centre of the butterfly to the tag.
Onto scrap paper, partially inking up one of the text stamps from Lynne's Wildflowers set 2, layering to scrap of re-cycled paper, attaching with Tiny Attacher staple,
attaching just below the circles, layering over the string from the tag.
To balance the collage, towards the right side of the panel, three pieces torn from re-cycled paper, topping with buttons.
To finish, I had fragments of walnut ink stained handmade paper and muslin, attaching this wee cluster with stapler before adhering towards right side of circle collage, adding more textural quality to the collage and is in keeping with the soft edge of the torn rice paper butterfly image.
