All Geared Up Jewellery Hanger by Tracey Fairgrieve

Hello everyone, I
hope you have had a creative weekend?
Today I am sharing a
make that I created along with my All Geared up Pendant for the That's Crafty! Rustica Blog Challenge which incidentally there is still time to join in.
Here in words and
lots of pictures is my All Geared up Jewellery Hanger:
Using a That's Crafty! Cogs Upright I first painted the whole surface in Black gesso and applied
texture sand paste in areas. I then created the rusted colour by painting on a
coating each of Red, Chestnut and Metallic Bronze Multi Surface Paint and heat
set to create a few more blisters on the surface.
Dots of Teal and
White Multi Surface paint adds a touch of patina.
The large Surfaces Cogs were painted the same way as the Upright.
With highlights of
Orange Shimmer paint and Metallic Gold Multi Surface paints the elements are
ready to be glued onto the upright.
Glued onto the
upright detail and shadow was stippled
on using small amounts of Prussian Blue by DecoArt.

Using 3D glue raises
the elements away from the upright
allowing enough room
to hang and hold jewellery behind them.
Finally each corner
of the base was embellished with bolts from the Large Cogs set, completing my
Jewellery Hanger holding a small selection
of my handmade jewellery.
The beauty of this
upright Jewellery Holder is that you can
use both sides and it
looks so pretty when on display.
Thank you for sharing
your time again today and please do check out the
That's Crafty! Rustica Blog Challenge if you
get chance.
Take care and Stay
safe until next time everybody.

Tracey xx
