Long Glinting Dragonfly by Lynne Moncrieff
11:00 Hello
If you own the That's Crafty! Rounds Upright pack, you know that it is packed with Uprights of differing formats. For this project I grouped together three individual Uprights to form a sort of triptych featuring a stamped dragonfly and supporting words, all PaperArtsy stamps.

Instructions
I had a panel of cotton rag paper already prepared by applying Gesso to the cotton rag paper before misting with the Flat Matte Sprays. Once dry, misting with walnut ink and applying Texture Paste, wiping away excess to allow the colour from the Flat Matte Sprays to show through in areas.
From this, three circles were stencilled and cut out.
Then adhered to the Round Uprights.
Onto white cardstock, first misting with water before applying the Pearl Inks, then misting again with water, allow to air dry.
Once dry, stamping the dragonfly collage.
The dragonfly will then be cut from the stamped collage but ensuring to save the text and honeycomb elements.
Looking at the Eclectica EAB set, inking up one of the quotes but only partially using it, stamping onto scraps of the inked cardstock, cutting into strips before adhering over two of the Rounds.
I spied leftover pieces from a MDF journal, those little circles are fabulous to keep aside to use as details on other projects.
Final touches, edging with Interference Gold Paint.
