Find Your Eternity by Lynne Moncrieff

Hello

As someone who is drawn to the inclusion of words/text within projects, I continue to find inspiration in the PaperArtsy Eclectica stamp sets.

I am also someone who likes to utilize items that others (read as non-crafters!) would see as rubbish! On this collage, I used underpaper which was covered with That's Crafty! paints, Pearl Ink and Walnut Ink and also found use for scrap edges from the CraftyBoard Journals, then there is the dried stalk from a wildflower.

Supplies

Extras: Dried Natural Element

Instructions

I had some underpaper which was covered with That's Crafty! Black, Grey, Ivory and White paints  with areas of Walnut Ink and Pearl Inks, all of the items I use most often. This was adhered to the MDF 8" x 8" panel.

Onto watercolour/cotton rag paper, after applying Gesso, then Walnut Ink and Texture Paste, once dry, using the largest circle on the A4 Circles Stencil, cutting it out and edging with black ink.

At this stage, the paper panel was adhered to the MDF panel and then layering the circle, placing it left of centre on the panel.

Stamping onto scrap paper, after partially inking up one of the quotes from PaperArtsy Eclectica EAB17

Having enjoyed pressing flowers and leaves, I had this element to add to the circle, placing the stamped words beside it.

Three strips were torn from leftovers of the background paper panel, adhering to scrap piece of the CraftyBoard Journal.

Cutting out the pieces and then edging with the Interference Gold Paint.

Adhering the paper strips to the CraftyBoard brings definition.

The third piece, it was so easy to slightly curve before placing over the stalk.

Thank you for your visit today, it is always greatly appreciated.
