For Mum and Mom ~ by Tracey Fairgrieve

11:00

It's Thursday everyone and my day to share a little
That's Crafty! creativity.

This one is for all the Mum's and Mom's out there..

Using a good quality watercolour paper, I drenched in water, dripped, flicked
and dropped watered down Multi Surface Paints into those page puddles.

From the Textures stamp set I stamped and embossed the rose in white also on watercolour card, sprayed with water and added that diluted paints, the embossing powder acts as a great resist. The rose leaves were stamped onto the excess background.

Cut out and spraying with water again I edged around the roses with the diluted paints,
how thirsty watercolour paper can be, but it always lets you know when it has had enough

Onto one of the cut to size backgrounds edged in co-ordinating machine stitching
the rose and leaves are layered up. These leaves have been given a twist of wire.

and the other given glitter glue veins.

Sequins, gems and buttons pick up the colours of the background
with a spray of gold sparklers spray to add shimmer and shine.

A labelling machine helps find those words for my Mum and Mom,
(we have one of each in our family.)

With Mother's Day being extra early this year
I can see these coming in handy.

Thank you for sharing your time, I look forward to sharing more
That's Crafty Creativity with you all the same time next week.

Creative wishes
Tracey xx

    1. Thank you very much Dorthe, I love finding out different ways to use something and as the pigment is so strong in the paints I had to test them to see how far I could push them xx
