To Wander by Lynne Moncrieff
11:00 Hello
I had previously prepared this panel with a piece from the Carte Postale Tissue Paper which was then laid aside until I could move forwards with it as a project. This is such a simple project, a panel which sees the largest of the Dried Botanicals stamp from Set 2 to be the focal image.

Instructions
After applying Gesso to the MDF Panel, a piece from the Finnabair Tissue Paper was applied, leaving to dry before dry brushing Gesso over the tissue paper, allowing the text and postal mark to peek through.
The large Dried Botanical was stamped with a combination of Potting Soil and Jet Black ink.
Using the A4 Circles Stencil with scraps of painted paper (watercolour and deli).
The postal mark was stamped onto one circle.
The three circles placed to upper left corner of panel.
On a scrap of paper, adding some marks with Pearl Ink Black, layered to another scrap piece of paper and stamping the words To Wander onto piece of Lokta paper.
To finish I simply edged the panel with watersoluble black pencil, a favourite of mine.
Thank you for visiting.
Wishes
Lynne

The elegance and simplicity of this is striking.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful work❤️
I am anxious for the dried Botanicals to appear in the U.S.!
ReplyDeleteThe shipping costs prevented my ordering from That's Crafty. The sets are quite lovely and I look forward to using them.
