It Takes a Village by Rachel Harries
11:00It takes a village or actually perhaps a small town... this week I've started on my own little town of storage pots, I know I'm going to be expanding soon but here's my start. I so enjoyed making samples for the debut of these recently that I had to get my own.
I started by sticking the pots together with That's Crafty! Adhesive.
I then took some That's Crafty! Sand Texture Paste through the That's Crafty! Brick Stencil
Once this was dry I then used That's Crafty! Light Texture Paste through the That's Crafty! Alphabet Stencil
I then used some packing card and cut out some window and door shapes which I then adhered to the houses and also added some twigs I found on my walk.
I then gave everything a coat of That's Crafty! Black Gesso and then started adding layers of That's Crafty! Multi Surface Paint making sure to dry between layers.
I then used a layer of Daily Art Bitumen
I then used some wax to finish off in places.
and there we have it this is the start of my property venture and like I said I don't think it will be the last time I get hold of That's Crafty! Tidy Houses
