Instructions
The journal page was prepared first with Gesso, applied to create texture along with touches of Texture Paste.
Walnut Ink was then sprayed onto the page and also to a piece of packing paper, first applying Gesso and to another piece of found paper before stamping one of the Scribbled Words stamps.
This piece is layered beneath an envelope which was stained with coffee and walnut ink. Taking one of the kraft tags from the Studio Light Tag Block, to grunge it up a little, it was dipped in water, scrunched in my hands before dipping into walnut ink. Once dry, repeatedly stamping the words to cover the tag. Oh, I should mention, tearing the edge from the bottom of the tag.
Taking the stamps, Seek refuge in nature, this time inking up only the words refuge in nature, stamping onto lightly stained card.
Wanting to achieve more depth to the background, Pearl Inks were applied along with walnut ink.
Thank you for your visit today.
Wishes
Lynne
