Ode to Autumn by Fliss Goodwin
11:00Hello!
The weather has now taken a leap into Autumn so I have a large tag on an autumnal theme with to share with you this week. As I was born in the Autumn, I have to confess that I love this time of year especially when there are cold and crisp mornings before a sunny day.
Step by Step:
I created the background for the large MDF tag by gluing on scraps of paper from an old book. Once it was dry, I brushed on some diluted Multi Surface Paints using Light Pink, Sandstone and a little Chestnut Brown around the edges.
I then glued on some scraps of muslin I had dyed with Basil and Saffron flat matte sprays, together with a piece of tapestry canvas.
I stamped some mushrooms with black ink and coloured them with Zig pens cutting them out and adding them to the tag with some leaves that I had stamped on ink spray overflow paper.
I finished off with one of Lynne's affirmations which was stamped on a toning scrap of overflow paper. I tied a piece of dyed muslin through the top.
Supplies:
Scraps of old book paper, muslin and tapestry canvas
Have a great weekend and see you next week.
Fliss x
