This owl tag was made to go with last week's project so I thought I'd post it now.

I've used one of the MDF Cog tags as my base and painted it in yellow, let it dry, added Crackle Glaze and then overpainted in a mixture of Teal and Ocean Multi Surface paints with touches of Orange. I also added some stencilling with Texture Paste, but then painted over it  so you can't really see it.

The extra bits you get with the tags are great for adding dimension.
