The feather represents scattered thoughts with the circle tucked behind the feather a symbol of all the directions our thoughts might travel.

Instructions
Onto the cotton rag paper, after applying Gesso, leaving to dry, the paper was then misted with water before applying the Pearl Inks. Once the Pearl Inks are near to dry, splatters were made. Then when completely dry, with my fingers, applying touches of the Interference Gold paint. Once this was dry, the paper was adhered to the MDF panel.
When I was working on a different project which featured a greyboard feather, I used this particular feather to "mop up" media, as I didn't want waste. All I did was add touches of the beautiful Interference Gold paint.
To the area behind the feather, a circle was cut out from scrap paper (already painted with walnut ink and pearl inks), which I embellished with a rusty washer, swiping some Interference Gold paint onto it. The circle was defined with Stabilo watersoluble pencil and lines scribbled in, applying water to the marks.
Thoughts was stamped onto scrap paper lightly inked with Pearl Inks, before layering onto more scrap paper, trapping a tiny piece of muslin beneath.
