Dinnertime by Helen Chilton

I've used some Katzelkraft stamps this week on a Chunkie ATC. I love these stamps for their humour - this is from the dog set and I've also used some of the Dinky stencils which fit perfectly.
Here's my Chunkie gessoed and ready to go. I fixed the wires through a hole punched in the top before assembling:
I then added some Walnut Crystals to the wet gesso:
Thought I'd go one step further and mixed some crystals in with the Texture Paste:
It gives a lovely colour to the paws stencil:
Then I stencilled some bones, let it dry....
...and rubbed on some dry crystals for shading:
After that just stamp and colour the dogs, curl the wire and dangle the bones from the ends:

Katzelkraft not only have this fantastic set of dog stamps, but there's also a cat set among others so it's worth taking a look at their selection - they're great fun.

This is so cute and quirky Helen. Love the way you made those bones dangle to tempt the little pooch too.
