Acorns and Oak Leaves Acrylic ATC by Tracey Fairgrieve

11:00

Hello everyone, it's Thursday and I feel as if I have gatecrashed the That's Crafty! Party
as I'm usually showcasing a crafty make on Monday's sharing the day with Dorthe who keeps me focused and out of trouble hee hee!!

Thursday is now my new day and I have some big shoes to fill as the super talented Nikki kept you all fixated with her creativity, wishing you all the best in your new job Nikki and don't be stranger.

Whilst I warm up the seat and take the stabilisers off ...

Here's an Acrylic ATC I created recently.

Using an off cut of a Distress Oxide paper mop up I adhered an acrylic ATC on top of the paper using Glossy Accents and left it to dry thoroughly before cutting off the excess.

That's Crafty! greyboard acorns and oak leaves were painted with Multi Surface Paints and detail added by scoring into the surface with a small ball tool.

The greyboard surfaces were glued onto the ATC after removing it's protective cover.

Glossy Accents adds interest to the acorns and dots of paint intensify's those beautiful colours. The wording Autumn is hand written and adds the final touch.

My Acrylic ATC is complete..

Tomorrow (Friday 6th) That's Crafty! have some fabulous products to tempt your creative needs on Hochanda don't forget to tune in or pop it on to record as Neil Burley will be waving his creativity at you all at 8am and 11am (GMT). You may spot an ATC or two and a lot more inspirational makes from the That's Crafty! Design Team.

Thank you for your company everyone
until next Thursday.

Take Care & Stay Safe
Creative Hugs

Tracey xx

But I must say you started out here, on your new day, with a gorgeous acrylic tag.
A wonderful effect with the mop up paper behind and the beautifully painted acorn and leaves on top. The colors are so stunning and love your handwritten word, as well ! So gorgeous !!!

    1. Thank you Alison, the given thickness of the greyboard spoils us enabling it to be used in so many different ways xx
