Create Love by Amanda Pink

 Hi Everyone and Welcome,

I have created a card to share with you today that features some of the new/newer products to the creative market and indeed That's Crafty's shop shelves.

Those products are one of AALL and Creates new stampsets: #452, 'Heart Grunge' designed by Tracy Evans and a couple of Tim Holtz new distress colours Kitsch Flamingo and Speckled Egg inks, spray stains and oxide sprays.

I began with the background panel. I worked on white cardstock with Distress Spray Stains, Distress Oxide Sprays and Distress Inks.

I sprayed the card with Kitsch Flamingo and Speckled Egg Distress Spray Stains concentrating each of  the colours in opposite corners of the panel. I then added some splatters in the same colours using Distress Oxide Sprays instead of Spray Stains.

Below is a close up of the top left of the panel

For a touch of subtle detail and texture I introduced some monoprint stenciling using AALL and Creates Stencil #39 with white paint.

Blending Distress Ink (Kitsch Flamingo, Picked Raspberry, Speckled Egg) around the sides and into the corners of the panel gave the stenciling more visibility.

The collaged stamp from Tracy's stamp set was stamped to the upper left of the background panel and then stamped again onto a piece of white card which I used to decoupage the hearts that feature n the stamp design.

The hearts were coloured with Distress Ink (Picked Raspberry, Speckled Egg), embossed with clear detailed embossing powder, cut and adhered. Using thin foam pads to adhere the 2 pink hearts gave them dimension.

The stamp set also includes  a small circle stamp with numbers and a line running through the circle This added an extra touch of detail to the sides of the background panel.

To balance the background design I stamped one of the word stamps from the stamp set, 'LOVE' at the bottom right of the panel. Two of the letters 'L' and 'E' were embossed and decoupaged to compliment the pink hearts.
