Versatile Kraft Part One by Fliss Goodwin

Hello!

Over the next couple of weeks I'm going to be exploring uses of kraft card which is one of my favourites as an alternative to white card, especially if you like making nature themed cards as I do.

Step by Step:

This week I'm concentrating on fairly clean and simple which is always a challenge for me as I'm sure you know that most of my artwork is definitely not simple!

Once I got the main idea, these cards came together in a flash, great if you're short on crafting time!

I decided to stamp directly on my kraft card blanks, choosing square shaped cards for this. I stamped a flower on one in the left bottom corner and a butterfly in the bottom right corner using VersaMark ink and heat embossed the images with white powder.

I coloured the images with coloured pencils and then splattered on some diluted paints, using white, blue and yellow.

I finished off with some text which was stamped on some of my inky leftover scraps in an ink that toned with my stamped image as I found black too harsh.

Supplies:

Have a great weekend and see you next week.
