Holiday Wishes by Amanda Pink

 Hi Everyone,

Today I have some 'Holiday Wishes' to share with you  by way of a mixed media 'Snowflake tag.

The tag features a couple of That's Crafty! Surfaces and some greyboard elements along with paints, texture pastes, touches of sparkle and some Tim Holtz Idea-ology embellishments.

The tag itself is a #8 That's Crafty! white/greyboard tag which I covered with a piece cut from a paint printed background that I'd made quite a while ago now using a gel plate, paints and giant bubble wrap.

Once adhered to the tag I spritz the background lightly with a shimmer spray and caught the sides, top and bottom of the tag with white paint.

Some light text ink stamping then sat beneath some stenciled snowflakes which were created by applying Tim Holtz Distress Texture Paste through his 'Flurries' layering stencil.

The tag was then ready for the focal feature.

The dimensional snowflake is made up of 3 That's Crafty! greyboard snowflakes which were adhered together after being treated with some of Tim Holtz Distress Grit Paste and Distress Snowfall Grit Paste. While the paste was drying I sprinkled it with some glamour dust so it would have a subtle touch of sparkle once dry.

The dimensional textured snowflake with a touch of sparkle was embellished with an Idea-ology fluted star topped with an eyelet.

It was mounted onto a That's Crafty! greyboard round covered with a spare piece of the paint printed background I'd used to cover the tag. This was then adhered to another That's Crafty! greyboard snowflake (a larger one) which had been treated in the same way as the dimensional snowflake.
The complete feature took its place in the centre of the tag.

Some splatters of white paint and an Idea-ology 'snowflake' touched with white paint helped add to the snowy snowflake theme of the tag.

While an ldea-ology 'word plaque' again caught with white paint offered my 'Holiday Wishes'.
