Hi
everyone,
Donna
here today using one of my Quirky Girls teamed with other That’s Crafty!
products.
What to do:
I
used a white/greyboard coaster for this, as it’s a nice size. I splodged a
couple of colours of the new Shimmer paints onto my craft mat and then dabbed
and ‘swooshed’ the coaster through the paints to give the effect you see here
on the background. The paints create a lovely mottled effect like this.
Use
one of the Word Series stencils for the stars and the word ‘Imagine’. I used a blue
Distress Oxide for the stencilling as it gives a lovely finish.
Take
a pair of the greyboard wings and coat with a layer of chalk paint then stamp
the stars with black Archival ink, adhere to the coaster.
The
Quirky Girl is stamped on a piece of Strathmore Mixed Media Paper and coloured
with diluted Distress markers, fussy cut out and adhere directly over the
wings. I also used the star stamp to cover her hair and fussy cut out a little
flower to fit on her dress.
Well
a girl can dream she can fly can’t she?!
Supplies Used:
That’s Crafty! Clear Stamps – Quirky Girls (I used Beki) and Lynne’s Affirmations (I
used Set 1)
Hope
you like it
