Donna
here today with a rather fab storage solution from That’s Crafty! These storage
boxes are made from solid MDF and can be painted and stamped etc to your very
own designs.
There
are multiple designs to choose from which all hold different types of media AND
they all stack up on top of each other so hardly take up any room….see what I
mean about being fab?!
So
of course for my version I just had to ‘catify’ it up!! My box is made to hold
Decoart So Soft paints and Distress Stains.
What I Did:
I
coated everything with a layer of DecoArt Gesso, then applied PaperArtsy paint
in Orchid, making sure it was thoroughly dry then started sanding the paint
back a bit for a distressed look.
I
used all That’s Crafty! Dinky stencils for this, as they are the perfect size,
once again using PaperArtsy paint this time in Snowflake for the stencilling.
I
hand drew all the cats but used various stamps too for the background including
one of my own hand carved cat face ones.
A
bit more paint added with DecoArt Metallic Gold and a spritz of a DecoArt Mixed Media Mister, add a little That’s Crafty! tag decorated for a finishing touch
and there you have plenty of cattitude ;)
