Hi everyone,
It's Donna here today with Fred who seems to have got himself into a bit of bother...as usual for him!!
What I did:
I took a size 8 manila tag for this, sprinkled some blue Brusho onto it and spritzed liberally with water until I was happy with the colour.
I used one of the fishes from the Marina stamp set to add interest to the background stamping it using a blue shade of archival ink so it didn't dominate.
The seaweed and bubbles (also from the Marina set) were stamped using black Archival ink and coloured in with undiluted Distress Markers.
Now comes the fun part....a head swap!! I love doing this as you get some fun ideas this way and you get to double the use out of your stamps too. Marina the mermaid was stamped onto Strathmore paper along with Fred's head and also the crown from the Amelie stamp set. These were all coloured in using Mermaid Markers (no pun intended) diluted with a water brush.
I gave Fred a pair of 'worried' eyebrows and added a little doodling here and there with Posca pens.
The images were fussy cut out and adhered to the tag along with a Tim Holtz sticker sentiment.
Fred did make a wish as he wanted something fishy but I'm not sure this is what he had in mind.....what a silly boy :)
