Wildflower by Lynne Moncrieff

 Hello

This is the first time I have worked with an Idea-ology Paper Doll, this mini doll was a perfect size for the stamped Dried Botanical.

Supplies

Instructions

Watercolour paper is simply prepared by spraying with Walnut Ink (dissolving the crystals/powder in spray bottle) and while this is wet, applying small areas of Pearl Inks and working quickly, misting with water. Once dry, adhering to the MDF Round.

Inking up one of the Dried Botanicals with Jet Black ink, after inking removing some of the ink for a faded appearance.

Selecting a Mini Paper Doll

adding details such as a piece of dried flower for her to clutch in her hands and a scrap of lace to trim her dress.

Selecting Romance of the Wildflowers from Dried Botanicals set, inking up the word wildflower.

The word is layered onto walnut ink stained muslin scrap and from the piece of lace that trims her dress, using a leaf shape piece to embellish this area and for its centre, stamping the smallest circle from Nature's Gatherings stamp, cutting in half.

Final touches, to edge the Round, I used Stabilo watersoluble pencil and wet brush but black ink would be suitable and stamping the grungy dots by inking up some of the Scribbled Words stamp sets - they were designed so the inky dots could be used for such effects.

Thank you for your visit.

Wishes

Lynne
