Cat Trading by Rachel Harries
11:00This weeks post from me is all about ATC coins, I have to say I think I shall be making many more.
I start off gessoing my coins so that they will be an even better surface to work on.
Next I glue some fragments of book page on my coins.
Then I take a stencil and pop it over the coins, I then use a dry brush to sprinkle some of the 13 Arts Color Glow Powders over the stencil, I then spray some water and let the colour develop before blotting the extra moisture away and removing the stencil.
I then popped the stencil back and blended some Distress ink over the top to add a little more definition.
I used the texture stamp set to add a little more detail to the background.
I then picked my images and stamped them where I wanted them on the coin and on a separate piece of card to cut out, it doesn't matter if the image on the coin doesn't come out well as I only need the detail in the outline.
I coloured my images and stuck them in place.
I then used the words stamp set to select appropriate words and added them with some
Tim Holtz Tiny Clips and glue.
