I thought I would make a pretty plaque with some beautiful papers and stencils.

I added gesso to the plaque in the first instance. I don't think this was strictly necessary in this case but I guess it's a habit I have adopted, it just gives everything a better key.

I then picked a lovely paper from the 13 Arts 12" X 12" Under the Stars papers (which wasn't easy as they are all so beautiful)  I glued this to the plaque, cut around the plaque and rubbed a sanding block around the edges to give a neat finish.  I then inked around the edges with some Distress Ink.

I wanted to add some texture so I used the 13 Arts stencil Under the Stars Horoscopes with fine texture paste through it.

I added some elements from the Under the Stars ephemera pack and I inked around the edges of those too.
