Frosty Shrooms by Fliss Goodwin

Happy New Year everyone!
For my first post of 2022 (where did last year go!), I have a rather frosty tag to share featuring some rather gorgeous craftyboard shrooms that I decorated up in warm shades to contrast with the frosty background. The weather too has been rather frosty over the last couple of days.
Step by Step:
My substrate is a large greyboard tag which I painted with gesso then bright blue multi surface paint. Once it was dry, I glued on a piece of muslin and then scraped 3D Holographic Texture Paste over the top. This gives a lovely glittery look.
I then glued on a piece of tapestry canvas lurking in my stash and it's a lovely pinky shade perfect for a contrast to the frost.
I took a couple of lovely Craftyboard Shrooms which come with 2 pieces, a plain backing piece with a cut out to glue on top or use by itself. I decided to use both pieces and coloured the elements with Flat Matte Sprays, choosing Rose and Walnut.
I then took a Craftyboard oak leaf and coloured this with Flat Matte Sprays too, using Aqua, Bluebell and Walnut.
I arranged the pieces on the tag until I was happy with the effect then glue them in place with 3D adhesive.
I finished off the tag with one of Lynne's lovely affirmations stamped on an overflow scrap with brown ink and tied a scrap of recycled sari silk ribbon through the top.
Supplies:
Muslin, Pink Recycled Sari Silk Ribbon
Have a great weekend and see you next week.
