Bloom by Helen Chilton

Some flowers to cheer you up as most of us are at home at the moment. I'm going to put this in an A5 journal.

It started out life as Gel Press background, using some PaperArtsy stencils. At this point I was thinking moonlit sky, but it changed along the way.

I then sprayed some Distress Oxides through this large script stencil by 13Arts.

Then I knocked it back with white stencilling - the Oxides come through.

I thought I'd paint Kay Carley's flowers with the Oxides as well to make up my background.

Then just stamp and colour some extras.

Arrange them on top.

Supplies:
PaperArtsy Cling Mounted Stamp Set - Eclectica³ - Kay Carley - EKC14
PaperArtsy Fresco Finish Acrylic Paints
: Snowflake, Midnight, Byzantium, Blue Oyster, Bubblegum, Vanilla
PaperArtsy Stencils: JOFY PS84, PS86, KC PS075
13 Arts Stencil - Aqua Flora - Script
Tim Holtz Distress Oxide Sprays: Broken China, Picked Raspberry
That's Crafty! Multi Surface Paints: Lime
That's Crafty! Surfaces White/Greyboard Journal - 5ins x 7ins

Gel Press - 5ins x 7ins

I love building up layers like this. You could also add some Stickles to the top flowers for a bit of sparkle. Kay's got lots of sets that can work like this, so why not have a go?
