My Journal by Donna Gray

11:00

Hi everyone,

It's Donna here today and I thought I'd show you the photos of my journal that I made for the May Hochanda shows with the new A5 Journal Kit from That's Crafty! which is just fab.

There's a lot of photos so I'm not going to do a step by step as I would be here all day but I thought it would give you an idea about what you can create with the kit.....which is anything you like basically!!

The background is black gesso and Multi Surface Paints.

The butterfly is created by using the Flat Matte Sprays on a piece of the linen paper in the kit.

The background on the left was created by using the Deli paper on the Gelli plate.

The page on the left was created by tracing through the daisy stencil and then using Posca pens to colour in.

Another Gelli print with the Deli paper on the left this time using the butterfly stencil to trace through.

The page on the right was created using the Flat Matte Sprays as a water colour for colouring.

The rice paper on the right goes almost translucent when the Emerald Creek Beeswax Embossing powder is used on it.

The Finches stencil is so versatile.

I used the crackle glaze on the page on the right for an aged effect.

I dyed the Calico on the right with a Flat Matte spray.

Using a white Posca pen with the stencils on a black background adds to the drama.

Yes finally we've come to the end and this page is created using the keys stencil.
Phew okay so we've come to the end!! I'm going to list all the products used but if you have any questions about a particular page then just please leave it in the comments section and I'll reply ;)
