Happy Bank Holiday lovely That's Crafty! Creatives. Today's project is all about the sea...with the brand new AALL & Create stamps by Janet Klein.

I started by stamping several images from Ocean Floor and Be a Mermaid stamps with Paris Dusk Memento Ink. To colour I used a selection from Pentart's Liquid Watercolour range. 

For the mermaid and Seahorse I stamped the images three times and layered up to create a decoupaged finish.

I used That's Crafty! Dinky Art Shrines for the background. I first painted them with That's Crafty! White Gesso, then once dry added a coat of That's Crafty! Metallic Patina. I glued the shrines together with That's Crafty! Multi Purpose Adhesive, leaving the scalloped front off for now.

To finish, I glued the plant life and shells into the shrines first, layering them up then added the front of the shrines. Finally I added the mermaid and seahorse to the front of the shrines along with more plant life and shells. 

I adore these new stamps from Janet Klein and I think they fit so well in the dinky shrines. And this little trio will make a great decor piece for the sea-lover in your life!
