King for a Day...by Helen Chilton

I've used some AALL & Create stamps for this panel, one of those sets I just couldn't resist! The detail on them is perfect for using on Stampbord.
Materials used:
AALL & Create Stamp Set #122- Chess Pieces
That's Crafty! Multi Surface Paints: Mustard Yellow, Teal, Lime, Black, Bright Red
That's Crafty! Surfaces White/Greyboard Panel 1
Instructions:
Paint half the panel with Mustard Yellow and then stencil the diamonds in the same colour on the white half and then in black on the yellow half. Once you've done that mask off the yellow half and stamp the King and Queen chess pieces:
Then stamp up a Stampbord square and stencil as shown:
Colour the chess pieces in:
Finish off by etching into the Stampbord, adding the words (cut up from Tim Holtz Rub ons) and edge the panel and tile with a silver Molotov pen.
And there we go, a small piece but full of detail. Hope you enjoyed it.
