A Trio of ATC's by Laura Holland

11:00

These ATC's are samples from the recent 13Arts show on Hochanda. I really had fun making these, it was one of those 'let's see what happens if I do this' kind of craft days.

What I Did:

This ATC is greyboard covered in teabag paper. I sprinkled some Rainbow Color onto my craft mat, sprayed it with water and then dragged the tea bag paper through. I left it to dry and then glued it onto the greyboard, making sure to add creases as I went. When it was fully dry, I trimmed the edges and added the chipboard pieces. The arrows and number 3 were coloured with Rainbow Color, again mixed on my craft mat with a little water and painted on. I coloured the swirl with a black marker and then embossed with clear embossing powder. The number 3 was also embossed with clear embossing powder and I added some 13Arts Colored Grit to the arrows.

I had used 3D Gel sprinkled with Rainbow Color through the Dots and Numbers stencil for another project and the backing on this ATC is actually the left overs that were on top of the stencil. I just rubbed some white card over the top and this is what I pulled off. The chipboard number piece was coloured with Rainbow Color and then glued into place.

I sprinkled Pistachio Rainbow Color directly onto an MDF ATC and then sprayed with water. I deliberately left some of powder undissolved as I wanted some grungy texture on the ATC. When dry, I stamped the bar code from the 13Arts Numbers Stamp Set with Archival Ink. I coloured the chipboard word 'ART' with Rainbow Color, darkened some of the word by adding more Rainbow Color with a paint brush and glued into place.
