Good Vibes by Amanda Southern

Hi Everyone
I have a clean & simple card for you this week using one
of the fabulous stamp sets from AALL and Create which have all just arrived at
That’s Crafty!
Here’s What I Did:
I
coloured a piece of card with a selection of Distress Oxides which were dabbed
onto a craft mat and spritzed with water, I then picked up the colours onto the
card drying each colour with a heat gun till I was happy with the layering I
created.
Onto a piece of white card I stamped the girls head image and then
stamped again onto the Oxide coloured card. I then punched square sections of
the Oxide stamped image using a paper punch, you could also just cut out the
squares. Onto another piece of the Oxide background I repeatedly stamped the
text stamp from the set and again cut squares of it out. I then built the
squares over the originally stamped image on the white card using 3d gel glue
to give some depth. I then stamped the sentiment from the set again adding a
square onto this also.
I added a little bit of colour, adding the white of the eye
and some colour to the lips along with some colour to the feathers on the
sentiment.
I then matted onto black card before adding to a card blank.
Here’s What I Used:
Distress Oxides – Assorted Colours
Square
Punch
Pink Gel Pen
3D Glue
White

Have a great week

This is so creative Amanda, I love how you have used those inchies to mop up the oxides a real alternative way to add colour to the card, super idea to over stamp especially with the sentiment. That Bipasha image is a fabulous design isn't it... I Love it.

Ooh, so clever and so effective - love the squares dotted around with text and especially to add detail to her face.
