Time for Reflection by Tracey Fairgrieve

11:00

Hello everyone, hope you are all well and keeping those winter bugs at bay.
Today I'm sharing a very quick make.

As Remembrance day is approaching I thought this was quite suitable
and by now you should know how much the Poppy means to me.

This is my Remembrance Reflection.

Quickly sketching a scene onto watercolour card with a sepia Inktense pencil
I activated with water and when dry glued on an Acrylic Tag.

When completely dry I sanded off the excess and re-punched the tag hole.
I coloured a greyboard wildflower poppy surface with alcohol markers and added
micro beads to the poppy centre (it just has to be done!!)

All glued onto the Acrylic Tag the handwritten
wording *Remember* speaks volumes.

Red and Black silk ribbon completes my
*Remembrance make.

Thank you for sharing a little part of your day.

Wishing you all a safe and happy one.

    1. Thank you Alison, it was a shame so much of the background was covered by the poppies but I suppose that adds to its allure xx
