I've made a card this week using a paper from the Craft O'Clock Summer Charm Collection, one of their vintage photos and some vintage stamps from PaperArtsy Scrapcosy.

 I stamped a bit of text on to the background with VersaFine Clair.

Then stamped the flower on the background in grey - I didn't want it to be too dark.

I added extra green to the leaves and background and red and yellow to the flowers with Distress ink.

Then I cut out images from the paper and  added touches of colour to pull it all together.

Then just layer it up and add embellishments.

Craft O'Clock is a great scrapbook range - they have papers, acetate, card bases, rice paper, die cuts etc. for each of their collections and it's all good value. Well worth a look!
