Nuts and Bolts by Helen Chilton

This project started with this Carabelle Studio stamp:
and these 13Arts papers:
I stamped and black embossed the image onto three different pieces:
I tore corners from the blue paper to add to my two pages, lining it up exactly.
The right hand page looked a bit pale, so I added some colour with Distress Oxides.
Then I worked out my cogs and gears.
For these I painted them, covered with the Seth Apter Rust powder and then added sprinkles of the Frantage Silver.
It still wasn't quite right, so I dabbed some paint back on!
Then you've just got to hinge the pages together and stick everything on.
Supplies:

This was great to make - I love anything with an industrial feel.

A really beautiful piece of artwork Helen and love the steampunk flavour you've given the vintage elements.
