Floral Tag by Fliss Goodwin

Hello!

I have a tag to share this week which was actually very easy to make and came about because I created a piece of background paper that I didn't quite like so cut it up to use on my tag.

Step by Step:

The background paper was created by stamping the round coin chain style image down the sides using black ink which I then heat embossed with clear embossing powder. I stamped the dream text down the centre and again heat embossed the stamped images.

I then took some flat matte sprays - bluebell, lilac and rose and randomly misted the colours on the paper. Once it was dry, I added a bit more detail with Zig markers in shades of blue and pink.

I stamped the image with the flower twice on white cartridge paper using black ink and heat embossed them as before. I coloured one of the images with a mix of flat matte sprays and Zig markers then cut both out, leaving plenty of space round the uncoloured black and white image.

I painted the top of the tag with lavender multi surface paint then used part of one of the gorgeous new masks (the mash up one) with holographic texture paste to add a bit of pattern and bling.

I glued on my background paper which I cut to fit the tag and then adhered the flowers on top, placing the black and white one underneath but pulling sideways a little as I wanted it to show. I found this gave a better contrast to the background than the pink flower on it's own.
