Something Fishy by Donna Gray
11:00
Hi
everyone,
Donna
here today with something a little fishy for you.
What I did:
I
splodged little blobs of Fresco paint of green and blue onto a size 8 manila
tag and then used a brayer to spread them evenly over the tag.
I
dried the tag thoroughly and then spritzed a little bit of Distress Spray in a
yellow to add a dappled pattern to the background.
The
next step was to stamp the images from the That’s Crafty! Deep Sea Divas,
Marina set in black Archival ink.
For
the colouring in I decided to use all Posca pens as I wanted a more intense
colour and these are very opaque so just be careful you don’t cover the details
up!
I
then used a black fine liner pen to doodle the ‘net’ effect in the background.
I
added a Tim Holtz sentiment and some twine to the top of the tag as a finishing
touch.
Thankfully
the making of this tag went swimmingly well….sorry!!
Supplies Used:
Hope
you like it
