Flying Free by Lynne Moncrieff

Today I am sharing two ATCs which were made at the
beginning of the year when the That’s Crafty! ATC storage units and That's Crafty! Surfaces were showcased
on HOCHANDA.
Supplies
PaperArtsy Stamp Sets - JOFY 12, 13 and 14
That's Crafty! Dinky Stencils - Abstract Stones (TC017), Hole In Wall
(TC066)
Rusty Tin Wire
Instructions
Dragonfly
Apply
Frescos and Frank Garcia powders to ATC. Stamp dragonfly with Gesso (working on craft sheet I applied the gesso
to the stamp with a foam brush before stamping). Loosely paint over the stamped image and
highlight with white paint pen. Stamp
mesh with Gesso and small circles with Fresco chalk paint, highlighting with
white paint pen. Apply Grungepaste to Abstract
Stones stencil. When dry, after mixing a
Frank Garcia powder with Gesso, apply to the stencilled area. A final touch, create coils from rusty tin
wire, adhering to ATC with Gel Medium.
Butterfly
Stamp
butterfly onto ATC. Loosely, highlight
with white paint pen and Fresco chalk paint.
With paint pen, again in a loose fashion, scribble lines. Apply clear Gesso to panel. Apply Grunge Paste to Hole in Wall
stencil. When dry, apply Frescos to the
bricks, I worked with Antarctic, Lake Wanaka, Toffee and Caramel.
Until
next time,
Lynne

Very delicate and, yet, very urban decay at the same time. A great combination to show off the soft colors you used. What a great feat you have accomplished, Lynne! Dragonflies and butterflies are such a favorite of mine and these images are so unique. I'll have to have a closer look at those! LOL Thank you for sharing, Lynne. inkybru xx
