Halloween House Party by Samantha Read
11:00
Hello! Happy Spook Day! For this weeks make I got a little carried away and decided these characters were needing a party. I do enjoy playing with Rubber Moon stamps and I don't know of anyone other than That's Crafty! in the UK that is a stockist so please do check them out here.
What I did
I began with three little wooden houses from eBay, glued them together and gave them a couple of coats of white gesso. I used a Dinky stencil and Texture Sand Paste to give the roof 'tiles' and painted the roof Grey and the house Lavender.
Using another Dinky stencil I added the Turquoise 'rays' for little contrast. I stamped 'Motley Crew' on shrink plastic, coloured with Prismacolour pencils and shrunk. A pumpkin, mushroom washi tape, flowers, sequins, wire and beads and finally the skull and crossbones finished the party details and I couldn't resist a little wink and an nod to Madness song 'Our House'.
