Spore Blimey by Samantha Read

Hello! Did you see the That's Crafty! show on Hochanda yesterday? The show featured some new stamps, greyboards and stencils. The stamps are amazing and are designed by Melina Dahl who you probably already know from That's Crafty! :)

For today's make I used one of the new greyboard tags and shapes that match the new stamps. I tried something new by painting with the Flat Matte sprays, I love the vibrant colours of them against the black and white background and they were very easy to use, a little goes a long way too.

What I did

I painted the greyboard tag with a black gesso base and then some white gesso over the top and splattered various colours of paint to give an 'arty' effect.

I then stamped the large stamp from the Scribbled Shroom stamp set for more background detail, to finish I sprayed some of the Frost Lustre spray, it gives the most wonderful, subtle, shimmering effect.

Using the same set of stamps I stamped on the matching greyboard shapes and painted using Flat Matte sprays. Some extra stars stamped on white card and coloured in the same way, Glossy Accents and a little glitter finished my tag.
