Happy Little Beach Huts by Tracey Fairgrieve

10:59

Hello everyone, hope you've all had a great weekend?

I'm sharing a one picture creation today as life has been very busy over the past week with not much sunshine to brighten those busy days. This was made in the hope that it would encourage that sun to shine as we in the UK cling onto the last few weeks of our Summer.

Here's my pure and simple *Happy Little Beach Huts*...

*How to Do's*...

1: Take a 5 x 5" piece of linen card, mop up Salty Ocean and Antique Linen water spritzed inks.

2: Sew edges of card and add cork, lace, ribbon and twine to recreate the sand and sea.

3: Stamp the Beach Huts from the Marina Stamp Set onto Linen card, colour and cut out.

4: Paint a 8 x 8" Panel in white Gesso, stamp and emboss the screw head stamp from the Textures Collection Set 1 and paint over with white Gesso.

5: Mat and layer with contrasting black and white card and mount on to the white/greyboard panel.

6: Finally glue on those Happy Little Beach Huts.

I had intended to make a hanging project but due to a chaotic week the rope I had planned to use seems to have gone into hiding (like everyone else when I have one of *Those Weeks*).. Haa haa!! I'm sure i'll find my hidden object to add that final touch sometime soon.

Have a great week everyone, take care and lets hope our sun comes out of hiding !!..

Creative Hugs

Tracey xx
