Dylusions Paints – Squeezed Orange, Lemon Zest
DecoArt Media Modelling Pastes in White and Black
Dylusions
Further Round the Edge Stamp Set
Today I
am featuring some of the amazing new stamps designed by our own DT member Donna
Gray for That’s Crafty! on a journal page.
I
started with blending Dylusions Squeezed Orange and Lemon Zest along with the DecoArt
Media Green Gold on the page in three approximate bands using a baby
wipe.
Next I
added black modelling paste through the Finnabair Dots and Stripes stencil and
white modelling paste through the Dinky Stencil.
I
stamped my girl four times creating alternative hair styles on 2 of them and
using smaller stamps in the sets to create patterns on the dresses of 2 of
them, plus 2 of the large and 3 of the small flowers, coloured them using the
Starburst Sprays painted with a brush and cut them out.
I
painted a strip of stamping card with the Lemon Zest and over stamped it with
the Dylusions border twice using the Archival ink and cut these out. Next I stamped my text onto the same yellow
card and cut it out.
I stuck
the border down and laid out the images on the page and glued them on adding
the text. I decided it needed more white so added further modelling paste
through the Dinky stencil.
