I had so much fun playing with this kit these two pages show how vibrant the
flat matte sprays are and just how much they react on calico.
Onto pre-washed Calico I sprayed each flat matte spray, you can see how those colours blend.
Using water I spritzed into the colour letting them drip down the calico.
Adding machine stitches I then glued the decorated calico onto one of the greyboard
pages within the kit. 3D gloss gel medium was pushed through Lynne's Affirmations
stencil 4 and the words highlighted with white pen when dry.
Glass beads and a trickle of 3D gloss gel medium replicates those raindrops.
On the reverse side of the left over calico those matte sprays make an appearance.

This piece I used to mark out stitches tracing through the Stitches Stencil with a pen.
This gave perfect markings for me to follow and hand stitch blanket, cross and
running stitch in bright coloured thread.
I also traced through Lynne's Affirmations stencil 2 with a pen and had
planned to embroider that too but sadly ran out of time.
Glued onto another greyboard page, strips of coloured rice paper have been applied
to the fabric using 3D gloss gel. The looped thread I also glued down,
left over from the hand stitching it seemed to belong there.
Frayed around the edges with a doodled thoughts these journal pages are complete.
A gentle reminder that there's still time to join in with the Stitch in Time
