My Art on my Heart.. the *B* Side by Tracey Fairgrieve

Good Monday all, it's my turn to share some creativity on the That's Crafty Blog today.
As you may remember last week I shared a little Art on my Heart, the shape of these hearts are really fetching and it seemed such a waste of space to leave the back so sparse so I've smothered it with creativity..

Here in words and pictures is My Art on my Heart.. the *B* Side

Primed with Gesso using the squiggle stamp from set 2 of the Textures Collection by That's Crafty! I stamped straight onto the heart diagonally using a variety of Distress Oxides, covered with clear embossing powder and heat embossed.

From the That's Crafty! Motivational Words stamp set 1 the words Be Creative have been stamped using Black Archival ink and heat embossed with clear embossing powder. Now it was time to shut the world out and do just that *Be Creative* over all those blank areas.

Using the Textures Collection stamps set 1 and 2 I filled the space by stamping with Distress Oxides and embossing each print using clear and a sprinkle of gold embossing powder occasionally. The white circles have been created by stamping into white gesso with a spritzer bottle top and transferring the paint onto the heart, this too has been given a sprinkle of clear embossing powder and heated.

When completed with all that embossed texture I felt that my Heart was still lacking a little something even with a whisper of gilding wax. Inspired by Dorthe my Team Mate and her addition of a little Blue Gem last Monday I decided to add a gem or two or three to mine. Now I think it's complete.

Like an open and closed sign on a shop door this double sided heart could be used in the same way. From last weeks *Art ~ Dont be Afraid* to this Weeks *Be Creative* I know which side of the Heart I would like to be on... don't you??

Wishing you a Happy, Safe and Creative week, until we meet again same time next Monday please come back each day to check out the creativity my Team Mates share with you.. I know you will be as inspired as I am.

Creative Hugs

Tracey xx
