Seeing Reality Journal Page by Fliss Goodwin

00:00

Hi there, I hope you managed to catch the Hochanda shows on Monday with Neil showcasing the latest new products from That’s Crafty!, as you were certainly in for a treat there. I’m sharing one of the A4 journal pages I made using one of the new inspirational quote stamps which is dear to my heart at the moment as I’m awaiting cataract surgery and have ever changing eyesight because of this!

Ingredients:

Baby Wipes

Recipe:

I decided on a fairly clean and simple look for my page and started by applying the orange and pink paints to the white side with a baby wipe, leaving some areas white and smooshing the paint around to give a textured look.

I then stamped the main image on the panel with black ink. Once this was dry, I stencilled flights of butterflies around her head to the top of the panel with the pink ink.

I stamped my chosen text on black card with Versamark ink and heat embossed it with the white embossing powder. I cut the quote out, trimming around the words fairly closely and glued this to the page to finish.

Have a lovely weekend and see you next week.
