I Believe In Courage by Lynne Moncrieff

00:00

This week, the courage stamp which appeared in my project last week, makes another appearance.

I am such a fan of the Uprights That’s Crafty! have designed so don’t be surprised if you see them popping up week after week!

Supplies

PaperArtsy Stamp Sets Everything Art EEA03 and 04LPC005
Extras:- Mop up/under papers, calico, loose fibres from torn calico, margin from old book page

Instructions

Apply Gesso to Upright and base, followed with a random application of Grunge Paste, to arch only. Then paint both with Rust metallic paint.

Gather mop up/under papers and previously stained calico and crochet lace – I use various paper/fabric to mop-up, knowing I can incorporate them into future projects.

Stamp LPC image onto stained calico, do this 2-3 times, stamping onto different size pieces for interest. Now layer the pieces together, aligning the image. Adhere to upright along with torn pieces of the various mop-up/under papers.

Stamp sentiment (courage is from the paint tube stamp) onto margin of old book page.  Adhere to image.

Insert upright onto base. gather some loose fibres from the torn calico and adhere to base.

Until next week,

Wishes

Lynne

  6. Marvelous, Lynne! It is obvious that you truly enjoy working with many elements in you pieces. This is such a beautiful image from Lynne Perrelli. The "courage" stamp really is a wonderful stamp to have in your collection. (I must see about getting that one!). I love all your bits and pieces that add such texture. The frayed edges of the calico really add dimension to your pieces. Well done, Lynne! Cheers! Inkybru xx
