Hello My Little Flower Pop! by Amanda Southern
00:00
Hi Everyone
Paperartsy have just released the 2nd collection
of stamps as part of the Elenazinski Art collection and all of these are
available now at That’s Crafty! As soon as I saw these cheeky birds across the
collections I just had to put them all together.
Here’s What I Did:-
I
wanted to create a clean and simple look but wanted to add some additional
interest to the background. I had a piece of card that I had splatted and
flicked acrylic paint onto using a combination of brands. The piece didn’t work
for me so I popped it in my scrap drawer.
I decided to die cut some squares and
rectangles using a couple of Seth Apter dies. I laid them out onto my white
background till I was happy with the design and then glued them onto the card.
I
stamped all the birds and flower heads onto another piece of white card and
coloured them using a combination of Prima watercolours and Prima water soluble
oil pastels and fussy cut them out.
I then
positioned my birds within the frames on my background.
I added
the flower heads to some green felt cord from my stash.
Finished
by stamping the sentiment and matting onto bright pink card before adding to a
card blank.
What I Used:-
Acrylic Paints (I have used a combination of Dina Wakley & Dylusions
PaperArtsy Elenazinski Art – ZA05, ZA07 & ZA08
Seth Apter Dies – Robo Square & Robo Bar
Green
felt cord from my stash
See you all next Tuesday
Love
