What If…….? by Fliss Goodwin

Hi
there, I was a bit short on crafting time this week so I have a very quick and
easy journal page to share. It’s quite bright and jazzy and features my
favourite go to shape – the circle!
Ingredients:
Ranger Dye Ink – Electric Lime, Caribbean Coast
PaperArtsy Fresco Finish Acrylics – Haystack, Cherry Red, Pumpkin Soup, China,
Zucchini
Journal
(Mine is A5 size)
Baby
Wipes
Recipe:
Use
baby wipes to apply the acrylic paints to your journal page. It doesn’t matter
too much if there are small gaps between the colours. Once you’ve finished
applying the paint use a clean baby wipe to soften the colours a little and
blend them into each other.
Next
take the bubbles stencil and use white gesso to add a few circles here and
there. I did a bit of masking on the stencil as I wanted more of the largest
circles on my page.
Stamp
the stripe pattern image randomly on the page with the lime and turquoise inks.
Add a few more circles with the large circle stamp and the grey Archival ink.
Now
stamp on the text at random on the page, I used 2 of the stamps to get my
message over (I kind of need to do this at the moment!).
I
finished off by using the fine black Sharpie to draw rough scribbly circles
around my white gesso bubbles.
Have
a great weekend and see you next week.

It may have been "quick and easy" but it's also so colourful and carefree - lovely!
