There are Always Flowers by Donna Gray

Hi
everyone,
Donna
here today with another PaperArtsy Infusions background for you.
What to do:
Use
a piece of Strathmore mixed media paper and sprinkle a few grains of the Infusions,
spritz with water and dry with a heat gun.
Ink
up the Kaisercraft script stamp with Potting Soil Archival ink and randomly
stamp on the background to provide interest.
Use
some of the wonderful Tim Holtz wildflower stamps with black Archival ink as
the main focal point of the card.
The
butterfly (best butterfly stamp ever) was made by stamping on a scrap of Gelli
print paper and the sentiment was made by once again stamping with Potting Soil
ink and then colouring with Distress inks, both were fussy cut out and adhered
to the card.
Mount
onto black card and then white cardstock and there you have a grungy, flowery
card ;)
Supplies Used:
Hope you like it

Oh wow, this is stunning!! Love the background already, the black flowers look brilliant against it and the butterfly looks super. Such a cool idea to use a gelli print for it. I am most impressed with how you fussycut it, antennae and all. A wonderful piece!!

Wow, this is gorgeous, I love your background Donna, all those scrummy brown, green and blue tones from the fusions and the script stamping just my thing. I love how they instantly give a vintage look, and yet the minimalist black stamping is quite modern. A true fusion which is stunning! Hugs Debs xx
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely stunning, Donna - the background is amazing, and I love the earthy colour palette.
