Rainbow Color Tag by Laura Holland
11:00
Another Hochanda sample - this time an MDF tag that was very quick and simple to do.
First I gessoed the tag and when it was dry, I sprinkled Rainbow Color at the top of the tag, sprayed with water and then moved the tag around so the Rainbow Color dripped to the bottom. I dried each colour before doing the next, as I didn't want the colours to 'muddy' too much.
I painted the chipboard word with black gesso and glued it to the tag and I coloured some tea bag paper with Rainbow Colors - I love using the Rainbow Colors on tea bag paper, as it absorbs the colour so well. Finally, I shredded the end of the tea bag paper with some scissors and tied to the tag.

This is lovely, Laura. Loving those drips and the black word popping against them . The coloured tea bag paper as a tag tie is such a clever idea x
